Beginner-to-Intermediate Bike Rides

Earth Traverse Outfitters will lead rides with options for various speeds and distances along Cherokee Blvd. Families welcome. Meet at the gravel parking lot, at the far west end of Cherokee Blvd. Call 524-0000 for more information.

Beginner Bike Rides

Mast General Store and Smoky Mountain Wheelmen will lead beginner rides from Market Square to various destinations.

Neighborhood Bike Ride

Market Square

The 12th annual Neighborhood Bike Ride moves to spring to be part of Bike Month! This family-friendly ride of less than 10 miles leaves Market Square and tours nearby neighborhoods at a casual pace before returning for the I Bike KNX Festival. Helmets required. Downtown Maryville at the Greenbelt Pavilion, on S. Court Street near the Blount County Courthouse. Register at http://www.foothillstriders.org

Ride of Silence
Wednesday, May 16
6:45 p.m.

Start and end at the Blount County Courthouse parking lot near 321 and Court Street. This 8 mile ride, at slow speeds and with a police escort, raises awareness of the need to share the road safely.
