2004 Work Program

TPO’s new Unified Planning Work Program highlights planning activities to be undertaken throughout the 2004 fiscal year. There are five emphasis areas:

  1. Incorporation of safety and security with planning processes
  2. Integration of planning and environmental processes
  3. Incorporation of management and operation within planning processes
  4. Enhancing the technical capacity of planning processes to support decision-making
  5. Consultation with local officials

The work program and the TIP were recommended for approval by the TPO Technical Committee at their July 8 meeting, and are expected to be adopted by the TPO Executive Board on July 23.
