Transportation
Improvement Program
The
Knoxville Regional TPO develops a Transportation Improvement Program
(TIP) every two years, documenting how federal funds will be spent on
transportation improvements within the urban area. The Long Range Transportation
Plan, which was reaffirmed in February 2002, is the basis for deciding
which projects are included in the new TIP. About $327.3 million is
programmed, with $136,688,506 million for 2004, $98,867,679 million
for 2005, and $91,732,520 million for 2006. Major projects are listed
