TPO held a successful Legislative Luncheon on Feb. 8 with approximately 75 people attending. TDOT Commissioner Gerald Nicely, several state legislators, and representative for Tennessee’s U.S. Senators attended along with the TPO Executive Board, TPO Technical Board, TPO staff and community leaders. The presentation by TPO Director Jeff Welch highlighted 12 highway system priorities for Knoxville TPO. Mayor Bill Haslam lead the event, which included a question and answer period by TDOT officials.
